Description
The TENSEI 1K Pro Red is the higher-launching member of the tour-level Pro family — a premium, higher-launch, mid-spin profile that never sacrifices stability. If you want to add flight and carry while keeping the tour-caliber feel and control of the 1K Pro platform, Red is the one to test. It fits a wide range of players, from moderate swing speeds all the way up to tour speed depending on flex.
Super-Stiff Handle, Softer Tip Design
Red pairs a super-stiff handle section with a softer, more active tip and a lower kick point. That combination lets the tip load and release to elevate ball flight and produce an easy, higher launch — without the loose, spinny feel of a lesser shaft, because the handle stays firm and controlled through transition.
1K Carbon Fiber Handle + MR70 Full-Length
The handle uses super-premium 1,000-filament (1K) carbon for stability and that signature 1K feel, while aerospace-grade MR70 carbon fiber runs full-length to add strength and hold everything stable through the strike. Boron reinforcement in the tip section fortifies the most stressed part of the shaft — the Pro-tier upgrade that keeps a higher-launch profile from getting soft.
Xlink Tech Resin System
Mitsubishi’s Xlink Tech resin drives carbon-fiber volume up for supreme feel while increasing strength and durability, so the higher launch comes with a smooth, premium feel rather than a harsh one.
TENSEI 1K Pro Red vs 1K Red
Looking at the standard TENSEI 1K Red too? Both are higher-launching profiles. The 1K Pro Red is the tour-level choice, with a super-stiff handle, boron reinforcement in the tip section and 50 to 80 gram weights in R through TX, and it fits moderate swing speeds up to tour speed, depending on flex. The TENSEI 1K Red (2026) is lighter and easier to launch, in 45, 55 and 65 series weights and R3 through S flex, for smoother tempos and moderate swing speeds. Not sure which fits your swing? Patrick can help you choose.
We build every TENSEI 1K Pro Red to your exact spec — your adapter and grip, tip-trimmed and fit by Patrick. Available in: 50, 60, 70 and 80 gram weights in R, S, X and TX flexes.
