Description
The Aretera EC1 is built for the golfer chasing the smoothest possible feel without the instability that usually comes with a soft mid-section. It’s an ultra-premium wood shaft — stiffer in the butt and tip, softer through the middle — that loads with a buttery, active feel and stays far more stable than that feel would suggest.
Control Centr Technology
Control Centr is Aretera’s answer to the trade-off between feel and stability. Using an advanced layered technique, it unifies the plies responsible for resisting twist and bending through the full wall thickness, taming the instability a compliant mid-section normally introduces.
Ultra-High-Modulus Materials + Spread Tow
EC1 combines ultra-premium high-modulus fibers with a spread-tow fabric to raise torsional stability, stacked in a balanced sequence. Aretera builds the EC1 with roughly 20 plies where a standard shaft uses 5 to 7 — the extra material is what lets a smooth shaft stay this composed.
Blue vs. Gray Profiles
Both EC1 profiles are mid launch and mid spin; the Gray plays stiffer than the Blue. Choose the Blue for a slightly easier load or the Gray for stronger swings that want more support — same smooth character, matched to your tempo.
We build every EC1 to your exact spec — your profile, adapter, tipping and grip, fit by Patrick. Available in: Blue and Gray profiles, 45–75g, in flex numbers 2 through 6.
