The Aretera AO2 is a next-generation wood shaft from the team behind some of the most respected shafts in golf, built around proprietary, ultra-high-modulus exotic fibers. It’s aimed at the “hand feel” player who wants torsional stability and maximum power transfer without giving up feedback under the hands — a firmer tip and mid flowing into a more active butt section.

POWERGRID Spread-Tow Weave
Aretera weaves premium high-modulus fibers into a flat, spread-tow fabric it calls POWERGRID, delivering stability and resistance to twist without adding weight — so the shaft stays stout under load while the strike still feels lively.

Coreless Design
Instead of the industry-standard bias core, AO2 integrates bias plies throughout the shaft wall from the inside out. That construction balances bending stiffness against torsional stability, and it’s why Aretera can stack roughly 16 to 20 plies where many shafts use only 5 to 7 — a more concentric, consistent build.

Blue vs. Gray Profiles
The two profiles differ by one variable — tip stiffness — to keep fitting simple. The Gray runs about 7% stiffer in the tip for lower launch and spin, while the Blue launches a touch higher; pick your side to match your swing.
